The Elmbrook Farm

Rob and Marie live just a few minutes drive to Main Street Picton on a quiet plot of land they have called home since 2019 - but before you think they are new to the County - Rob was born here. He grew up in Wellington and went to Picton High School before moving away to go to College. Marie was originally born in Newmarket but has lived and worked most of her life in Toronto and Durham Region. Rob's late parents lived in the County and with many visits back, Rob and Marie have seen the transition over the years.

Once they made the decision to leave their small home in the City, it was only one trip out to know that this is where they wanted to set their "roots". Rob and Marie have Bernese Mountain Dogs and you can often see them around the County for their early morning walks. They are super friendly and love attention. Rob had grown up working a Hobby Farm in the County and was excited to start his own market farm. It took quite a lot of effort to transition the soil to be workable and is a work in progress. We are an uncertified organic farm and bakery. The beehives are producing honey for their own use in the bakery and for sale to customers. We strive to use regenerative and sustainable methods in our market plot.

You can find their products used by chefs at local restaurants, or in cafes, store / markets, including the Picton Town Hall Farmer's Market from May to October, along with direct order options delivered free county-wide on Tuesdays.
